Returning to the Wild: My Journey of Creative Reconnection

I’ve always believed that creativity is a mirror - one that reflects where we are, what we value, and who we’re becoming. My own creative path has been anything but linear. It’s taken me from the glossy studios of the fashion world to quiet corners of the jungle, from burnout to rebirth, and eventually to the founding of Rewolf: a space that helps others reconnect with their purpose and bring their most authentic work to life.

The Call to Create Something More

For years, I lived what looked like the dream. I was a fashion stylist working on the show What Not To Wear and with brands like Barneys New York, Free People, and Converse, doing what I loved, surrounded by creativity. But beneath the surface, I was exhausted. I had been moving so fast toward achievement that I lost touch with the quiet part of me that simply loved to create.

Life as a fashion stylist

When my close friend Paul suddenly passed away, everything I thought I knew about purpose unraveled. Grief cracked me open. I began spending more time in nature, asking for signs, searching for meaning, and quietly listening for guidance. One day, while hiking in Vermont, I found a small pendant that matched the tattoo Paul had on his back. I slipped it onto the necklace I was wearing, and it soon became a quiet symbol of renewal and direction. That moment marked the beginning of what would grow into my first handmade jewelry piece and, eventually, my first business: INDA Creations, a cannabis wellness and accessories line inspired by self-discovery, intentional living, and healing through nature. It was the first time I felt truly guided by something greater than myself, and the first time I understood that creativity could be a path toward healing.

Leaving the Known, Trusting the Unknown

Walking away from the fashion world wasn’t easy. I had worked relentlessly hard to earn my place, breaking down doors in a fiercely competitive industry. After years of long hours, creative hustle, and carving out space in the fast-paced scene, letting go of it all felt unthinkable. But my intuition was stronger than my fear. I left my job, my home, and the safety of what I knew to follow a whisper that said “there was something more waiting for you”.

I packed my things and purchased a one-way ticket to Nicaragua to immerse myself in yoga, healing, and creative exploration. For the first time in my adult life, I allowed myself to slow down, to be with myself. Nature became my teacher. I learned to listen to her rhythm: how everything grows, blooms, and transforms in its own time.

The path was unpredictable and full of challenges. I faced fear, loneliness, moments of doubt, and a lifetime of wild travel stories that could only be written by surrender. But each obstacle revealed something essential: that healing, creativity, and entrepreneurship all begin with trust. Slowly, through it all, a new business began to bloom, one rooted in intuition, resilience, and faith in the unknown.

Rooted in Nature: A Season of Reinvention and Reconnection

When I returned from Nicaragua, I felt an undeniable pull to live closer to the land and deepen my relationship with nature, which had been guiding me all along. I moved onto a historic 200-year-old farm in Vermont that my entrepreneurial friends were transforming into a regenerative hemp farm. There, surrounded by healers, herbalists, land stewards, and fellow visionaries who were daring to live against the grain, I immersed myself in the wisdom of the earth: planting, learning, and creating alongside people who approached both business and life with reverence, creativity, and intention.

At the same time, I expanded the INDA line to offer full spectrum hemp products made by the farm, as early adopters in the CBD space. I also grew the brand’s accessory line, inventing and developing a smokable, wearable pipe necklace to help elevate the budding space.

That chapter rooted everything I believed in and brought my values to life. INDA evolved into an experience that intertwined education, sustainability, and a deep connection to the spirit of the earth. Every piece carried a story of healing through nature and creative expression. Brand storytelling became the thread that wove it all together, as my growing community joined me in learning, experimenting, and awakening to new ways of being.

A New Chapter of Creation

Eventually, I moved to Los Angeles to expand INDA within the evolving worlds of wellness and cannabis. The city became a new kind of classroom, one filled with collaboration, creativity, and community. I began creating immersive brand activations and experiential events that brought people together through education, ritual, and play. From designing wellness experiences for Mr. & Mrs. Smith to styling VIP spaces for a flying car company, each project became an opportunity to merge artistry and meaningful experience.

INDA evolved into more than a brand and became a movement rooted in connection. I hosted gatherings that invited others into the same conversations that had transformed me: one about holistic healing and creative freedom. As my brand’s presence grew, it was featured in Coveteur, WWD, Self Magazine, High Times, Yoga Journal, Refinery 29, Buzzfeed and Vice’s Museum of Weed - affirmations of the role INDA played as an early voice for the emerging cannabis industry.

After years of creating, learning, and growing through INDA, I began to sense another shift that called me inward again. I realized that what I loved most wasn’t just building products or experiences, but helping others uncover their own truth and bring it to life through storytelling, creativity, and conscious strategy. I was craving deeper creative work, the kind that blended heart and structure, intuition and intention, and recognized that my true passion lived in the alchemy of transforming ideas into stories that connect, inspire, and heal.

Rewolf: The Return

That realization became the seed for Rewolf, a name that quite literally holds its own mirror. Rewolf is “flower” spelled backward, a reminder that growth often begins in unseen places before it blooms into form. It represents the cycles of rediscovery - returning to ourselves, reaffirming our truths, and blossoming into new expression. I believe in the untamed beauty of creative growth: when we gain clarity about who we are and express it fully, we not only grow our brands but help the world heal.

Rewolf grew from that belief. Just as nature blooms and regenerates in rhythm with the seasons, brand building is a process of unfolding, of listening, aligning, and allowing purpose to take form. Through strategy, storytelling, and soulful design, I now guide founders through that same journey of reconnection, helping them grow in alignment with who they are and the impact they are meant to make.

Founding Rewolf was a return to my creative core. It brought together everything I’ve learned about alignment, storytelling, and the cycles of creation, the expansion and stillness that mirror nature herself. Rewolf isn’t just a creative studio; it’s the culmination of lived experience and a belief that creativity, when guided by intention, becomes both transformative and grounding.

Themes That Shape My Work

Every experience along this journey became a lesson, shaping how I show up for the founders I now guide. The principles that root my work are the same ones that helped me find my way back to myself.

The Courage to Begin Again
Starting over isn’t failure, it’s a sacred act of evolution.

Healing Through Creation
Creativity is a form of medicine, a way to transform pain into beauty and purpose, and a path to wholeness.

Redefining Success
Fulfillment isn’t measured by external achievement, but by inner alignment.

The Power of Self-Trust + Transformation Through Surrender
Intuition is one of the most reliable compasses we have.

Story and Expression is Healing
Storytelling helps us make meaning of our becoming, while expression brings those lessons to life. When founders create with openness and heart, their work becomes a source of connection, transformation, and healing, for themselves and those they reach.

Rooted in the Wild
Growth has seasons. When we build in harmony with nature’s rhythm, everything flows more freely. Rewolf follows this wisdom, honoring cycles of expansion, integration, and rest.

These lessons aren’t just my story. They’re the threads I see reflected in the founders I work with every day - the creatives, visionaries, and change-makers who are building with heart, not just hustle.

Philosophy Of Becoming

Rewolf was born from a journey of transformation, from loss to healing, from burnout to balance, from seeking to self-discovery. Inspired by nature’s cycles and the courage it takes to begin again, I created Rewolf to help conscious founders do the same: return to their truth, reclaim their creativity, and rebuild with intention.

Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that strategy and soul are partners in growth. When structure meets spirit, brands come alive, expanding with authenticity, creativity, and purpose. Through storytelling, design, and alignment, Rewolf helps founders connect deeply with themselves and the world around them, reminding us that when we express our truth, we evolve our being.

Growing a brand takes clarity, direction, and an approach that fosters real connection. Yet so many business owners find themselves caught in a cycle of overextending, trying to do it all, and still feeling like they’re not making meaningful progress.

At Rewolf, we believe in moving beyond the endless hustle. Scaling your brand doesn’t have to mean burnout. Instead, we take an intentional, strategic approach that ensures your business grows with purpose - steadily, sustainably, and in full alignment with your vision.

Returning to the Soul Place

“Bone by bone, hair by hair, Wild Woman comes back. Through night dreams, through events half understood and half remembered, through monarch butterflies perched atop her head, lightning bugs as her night jewelry, and emerald-green frogs as her bracelets.

The psyches and souls of women have their own cycles and seasons of doing and solitude, running and staying, being involved and being removed, questing and resting, creating and incubating, being of the world and returning to the soul-place.”
